In the xDesign login screen, we create a new component called Chassis. We can obtain these drawings and dimensions from SOLIDWORKS. For this, we need some 2D drawings and dimensions on the Chassis. We will use the New Design command in the Design Guidance. Now that you have obtained a lot of information about Design Guidance, we can move on to our project. We can liken this feature to the topology optimization in SOLIDWORKS Simulation. Redesign, on the other hand, allows us to test the accuracy of the design according to the loads and constraints we have specified on an existing 3D model. We’ll be using the New Design command throughout this tutorial. You don’t even need to have a 3D model when using this feature.
